Ema Mckie is a Los Angeles based abstract artist known for their bold colors and composition based work. Mckie uses the way they see everyday objects and environments interacting to inform pieces that represent a new, otherwise quiet, communication.
Born in 1994 in Colorado, Mckie spent their young years being introduced to the art of Calder, Goldswothy and Hundertwasser. Self taught, they chose to work under other artists instead of taking a college route. Mckie began working in and showing at galleries in New England and CO before moving to Los Angeles where their style came to fruition. Mckie now shows work in LA, NYC and The UK.
