open studios
In February 2025, Mohilef Studios hosted its second annual Open Studios at our Washington Blvd location, coinciding with Frieze Los Angeles. Over 30 resident artists welcomed the public into their studios to celebrate art and community.
In the wake of the devastating January wildfires, the event also served as a testament to Los Angeles’ art community’s strength and resilience. In collaboration with Grief x Hope, artists from the Mohilef project sold prints to support fire victims.
Mohilef Studios also previewed two solo exhibitions: Laura Watters’ Killing the Angel in the House and Canyon Castator’s Cannon Fodder. Food was provided by Antiguo Live Fire, with drinks from Recess, Dosi Dosi, and The Agency Art House.
